So, after seeing COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser in literally every “best K-beauty cleanser” list, I finally caved and tried it. And… I get the hype. Kind of.

Let’s start with the good:

✔ It’s super gentle. My skin can be moody (some days oily, some days Sahara-dry), but this doesn’t strip it at all.

✔ The low pH means no weird tight feeling after washing. It’s just clean, simple, and balanced.

✔ It doesn’t irritate my skin—even when I have those annoying little breakouts or flaky patches.

But now, the part I’m still unsure about: Would I repurchase it? Maybe.

Here’s the thing—I like it. It does its job. But does it excite me? Not really. It’s like that one solid friend who’s always reliable but never the life of the party. My skin feels clean and comfortable, but I don’t get that “wow, my skin looks amazing” moment after using it.

I think if you want a no-fuss, every-day, sensitive-skin-friendly cleanser, this is a great option. But if you’re like me and constantly chasing that one product that makes you want to stock up in fear of it being discontinued… this might not be it.
