I’ve been really enjoying this sunscreen as it feels more like a lightweight lotion than your typical SPF. The texture is beautifully soft and silky, and honestly, I wish I could slather it on endlessly. That said, once applied, it doesn’t really alter the look of your skin. It’s not dewy or matte as it just looks like your skin, but better. And that’s actually something I love. It wears like a second skin, completely undetectable.

It hasn’t caused any breakouts, which is a big win for me. Still, to be cautious, I always use a cleansing balm to remove it at the end of the day. This is a chemical sunscreen with no white cast and no noticeable scent, which makes it easy to layer under makeup or wear on its own.

I picked this up after the COSRX Aloe Soothing Sunscreen didn’t work out for me as it caused breakouts and failed to prevent sunburn during a trip to California. In comparison, I much prefer the texture of the B.LAB sunscreen. It glides on effortlessly and melts right into the skin without any heaviness or greasiness, whereas the COSRX one felt a bit thicker and clunky.

For context, I live in a coastal area with milder sun exposure, so I’m not sure how this would perform in harsher climates like California. But for my daily needs, it’s been perfect. I grabbed it during a 1+1 sale, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing. 5/5 from me!
