Numbuzin No.3 Review

So after seeing this toner all over TikTok, Instagram, and K-beauty subs, I finally gave in and tried it. NGL, I was kind of scared because some of the reviews made it sound like it would either make me glow like a goddess or destroy my skin barrier in two days. No in-between.

Here’s my experience!

Skin type: Combo leaning dry, sensitive to random stuff, but generally fine with niacinamide. I’ve used fermented ingredients before (like in essences) without issues.

First of all, the texture surprised me — it’s not a regular watery toner at all. It’s closer to a lightweight essence. Not thick-thick, but definitely more body than your usual hydrating toner (think Isntree HA Toner, etc.). When I first poured it out, I was like, ok, fancy water? but no, it actually feels substantial on the skin.

Spreads easily, soaks in fast. No stickiness after one layer. After two, there’s a slight “bounce” to the skin but still no gross tacky feeling.

What was huge plus for me was that it had NO scent. Maybe a faint clean smell if you really stick your nose in, but it’s practically unscented. Good if you’re sensitive to fragrance.

How I used it

• Applied after cleansing, morning and night.

• One layer if my skin felt normal, two if it felt dry.

• Followed with moisturizer and sunscreen (AM) or moisturizer and sleeping pack (PM).

What I noticed

• Immediate hydration — skin felt way less tight after washing.

• After about a week, I noticed a soft glow (not greasy, just healthy).

• Skin texture started feeling smoother. No drastic “omg new skin” moment, but definite improvements.

• No irritation, no redness, no breakouts. (Which was my biggest fear because fermented ingredients can be iffy.)

BUT BE CAREFUL. This toner has fermented ingredients and niacinamide pretty high up in the list. If your skin hates either, be careful. Some people react badly to both — especially fermented ingredients because they can be a little unpredictable.

If you’ve ever had a bad time with things like galactomyces, bifida, rice ferment, or with niacinamide serums (like The Ordinary’s), patch test or introduce it slowly.

Price

Pretty reasonable for the size. I’ve been using it for a month now and I’m maybe 1/4 through the bottle.Comparison to other toners

• Way more hydrating than your basic hydrating toners like Hada Labo or Isntree.

• Closer in feel to an essence like Missha Time Revolution or SK-II (but waaaaay cheaper).

• Not as thick or slippery as something like the Laneige Cream Skin.

Pros

• Hydrates + nourishes in one step

• Lightweight but feels like it does something

• No strong scent

• Skin looks fresher and smoother over time

• Affordable for how much you get

Cons

– Can irritate sensitive skin if you don’t handle fermented ingredients/niacinamide well

– Not a miracle product; changes are slow and subtle

✨️ Summary ✨️

Really happy I gave it a shot. If your skin is cool with ferments and niacinamide, this is a great everyday toner that’s more than just “hydrating.” It gives that soft glow over time without any drama. Would absolutely repurchase unless my skin randomly changes its mind later.

Rating: 4.2/5

Repurchase? Yep, unless I find something I like even more.
