About Me
Skin type : Sensitive combination, prone to redness and texture after treatments
Skincare priorities: Soothing, hydration, and barrier repair
Why I Bought It
After my latest IPL session, my skin was feeling hot, reactive, and just overall stressed out. I needed something that could help cool things down without making it worse, and that's when I found the Cell Fusion C Post alpha Cooling Pad.
Here’s what I was hoping to get
●Instant cooling and redness relief
●A formula safe for sensitized skin
●Pads that actually stay put and feel good on the skin
Ingredients and Formula
This pad is clearly built with sensitive skin in mind. It has a pretty simple but well-balanced formula — glycerin, trehalose, and sodium hyaluronate offer lightweight hydration, while panthenol and chamomile extract help soothe irritated skin.
One interesting addition is methyl diisopropyl propionamide, a synthetic cooling agent often used as a gentler alternative to menthol. It gives that refreshing sensation without the sharp sting that menthol sometimes causes, making it a smart choice for sensitive skin products. The cooling effect feels clean and long-lasting, not overwhelming.
It also includes French pine bark extract and a peptide (acetyl hexapeptide-8), which was an unexpected bonus for a product this basic.
Most importantly, there’s no alcohol, added fragrance, or harsh exfoliants. It’s a chill, no-drama kind of formula that knows what it’s here to do.
Pad Design and Texture
The pads are large and soft, with a smooth texture that doesn’t irritate even post-laser skin. They’re not overly soaked, though — about halfway through the jar, I noticed the last few were starting to dry out a bit.
That said, the shape fits nicely along curved areas like my cheeks and jawline, and they stick well for a quick 10-minute calming session.
✅Comfortable to wear, great fit.
First Impressions and Performance
The night after my IPL treatment, my skin was still flushed and sensitive. I used two pads, one on each cheek and jawline, and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
The cooling effect kicked in immediately. It felt refreshing, almost like a cold compress, and I did notice the redness tone down noticeably (maybe by 25–30%).
But here's the thing. My experience wasn’t totally consistent. On days when my skin barrier felt compromised, I did get a slight tingling sensation. It wasn’t a burning feeling, just a hint of overstimulation.
✅Delivers on cooling, but might not be a perfect fit if your skin is super sensitive that day.

If you want visible long-term results, this probably isn’t it
This isn’t a miracle pad, but it does one thing — cooling and calming — really well. I wouldn't call it essential, but for those moments when your skin just needs a breather, it’s a good one to have on hand.
Use it when you need it. Don’t expect it to change your skin long term. And definitely don’t rely on it as a one-step solution. But for what it offers, it’s solid, simple, and skin-safe.
