My Experience with S.Nature Aqua Squalane Cream & Mamonde Blue Chamomile Cream

S.Nature Aqua Squalane Cream

Texture: It’s opaque and feels much more hydrating compared to Mamonde. However, it doesn't have the gel texture like Dr. G's moisturizing cream.

Key Ingredients: Squalane, Panthenol, Hyaluronic Acid

Scent: It has the typical neutral scent of fragrance-free skincare.

Mamonde Blue Chamomile Cream

Texture: The texture is semi-transparent, with very small capsules. Compared to the Aestura cream, there are fewer capsules, and they’re smaller.

Key Ingredients: Blue Chamomile, Hyaluronic Acid

Scent: There’s a slight powdery scent.

SUMMARY

Moisture Level

S.Nature < Mamonde

Thickness

S.Nature < Mamonde

Scent Intensity

S.Nature = Mamonde

Visually, the Snature cream looks thicker, but when applied, Mamonde has more oiliness. After absorption, both have a similar feel. Neither feels particularly more hydrating or sticky, both have a similar finish.

Both work well as day creams! I mainly use Snature before makeup, and Mamonde has a soothing effect, so I used it with Aestura when my skin got red and needed calming.

I’ve used both and your breakdown is so accurate. The Mamonde one definitely feels more hydrating, but the Snature sits better under makeup for sure.

Honestly, this is just another sunscreen that’s way overhyped. There are better ones out there, trust me.

I find Mamonde’s scent a bit nostalgic—it’s soft, but it gives that classic Korean skincare vibe.

So, you’re just layering this under makeup like it’s a miracle product? Spoiler: It’s not.

Yes! The S.Nature texture threw me off at first—I expected it to be heavier. But it’s deceptively light on skin.

You think Mamonde’s scent is ‘nostalgic’? It’s just overpowering and annoying. Stop romanticizing it.

For sensitive skin, I’d still reach for Mamonde when my barrier is acting up. It’s got that calming edge.

S.Nature’s texture is nothing special. It’s just lightweight because it’s underwhelming.

I actually cocktail Mamonde with a drop of oil at night and it works wonders.

If you’re sensitive, Mamonde is your go-to? Stop acting like that’s a magic cure for all your skin issues.

Anyone else feel like Snature is slept on? It’s so neutral but actually delivers.

Cocktailing Mamonde with oil? That sounds like a greasy mess. Just get a product that works by itself.

Appreciate how you mentioned the capsule texture in Mamonde! It dissolves nicely, but it’s something people should know.

Snature might be ‘neutral,’ but it’s as bland as they come. Not everything that’s understated is good.

Your comparison was SO helpful! I was debating between these two for a minimalist morning routine.

Mamonde capsules dissolving nicely? Cool, but no one asked for your skincare sermon.

I use the S.Nature cream in winter mornings—it doesn’t pill with sunscreen!

Minimalist morning routine? Maybe you just can’t handle a proper skincare routine.

Snature’s no-frills approach is kind of what I need when I just want my skin to breathe but still stay moisturized.

S.Nature not pilling with sunscreen? Let me guess, you’re just using half of what you need, so it’s ‘fine’.

Mamonde over Aestura is my go-to when I’m flaring up. It really calms redness better than I expected.

Honestly, Mamonde does feel richer, but sometimes a little too much for combo skin during spring.

Surprised how close they finish even though the textures are so different!

I wish Snature had a version with added ceramides though—it’d be a game changer.

This is probably a rare take, but I actually prefer Snature when my skin is breaking out—it doesn’t clog anything.

I felt the same about Mamonde being more oily, but it doesn’t feel heavy weirdly? Like it just melts in.

Surprised no one talks about Snature more—it’s so underrated in the K-beauty world.

I’m using the Mamonde cream post-laser right now and it’s been a dream.

Blue chamomile is such a lovely ingredient for irritated skin. I’d love to see Mamonde do a matching toner too.

I always find that Snature’s panthenol content helps when I’ve gone too hard with exfoliants.

I layer Mamonde over a lightweight peptide serum and it’s like a moisture bomb without stickiness.

Can confirm: both layer beautifully with sunscreen. Super rare to find two creams that don’t mess with your base.

Honestly, packaging-wise Mamonde wins. The texture, the vibe—it just feels more luxe.

If anyone’s wondering, I’ve had no pilling with either even under foundation.
