Whipped Mugtree Cookie Clay Cleanser 🍪

Okay. Let me just say — when I first saw the Whipped Mugtree Cookie Clay Cleanser, I didn’t expect to take it seriously. I mean… cookie clay? Whipped cream aesthetic? It looked like something straight out of 2010s Etude House — cute, nostalgic, maybe a little too playful for my grown-up skincare shelf.

But here I am. Using it. Loving it. Lowkey recommending it to everyone I know.

Let’s start with the obvious: it’s adorable. The packaging, the whipped swirl, the whole “dessert but make it skincare” vibe — it’s clever and fun. And sometimes that’s all it takes to make a routine feel more exciting. I honestly smile every time I open the lid.

But here’s the twist — the product itself? It actually works.

The texture is super satisfying — thick but spreadable, almost like creamy mousse. Once you add a little water, it foams into a soft lather that feels gentle but effective. It doesn’t strip my skin or leave that squeaky-clean tightness I usually dread from clay products.

My skin feels clean, calm, and just… nice afterward. Not red, not dry. And while I didn’t expect much from the cleansing performance (because let’s be real, themed products often flop), I was surprised. It clears out daily grime and mild congestion better than a lot of my fancier cleansers.

Would I say it’s the most powerful or purifying product ever? No. But that’s not what I want from my everyday cleanser anyway. I want something that feels good, looks good, and does the job — and this absolutely checks those boxes.

So yeah, it might look like a novelty, but it’s honestly a gem. Sometimes skincare should be fun — and this one makes it fun and functional.

I'm intrigued but skeptical. Plz help me out here!
    - Does it actually smell like cookies, or is it just marketing?
    - How does it compare to traditional clay cleansers like Innisfree's Super Volcanic?
    - Is the whipped texture just for show, or does it affect performance?
    - Would this work for oily/acne-prone skin, or is it better for dry types?

LOL I bought this purely for the aesthetic and ended up shocked by how much I loved it. The texture is wild like spreading fluffy cake batter on your face? But it somehow cleans better than my old serious cleanser. My skin feels balanced but never stripped, and I swear my pores look less angry.
Also, the scent is subtle like a faint vanilla-honey vibe, not cloying at all. 10/10 would repurchase just for the joy it brings to my PM routine.
