I Finally Tried the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream Because of You and Here’s What Happened

Before getting in, I have combo skin which is breakout-prone and leaning more dehydrated lately.

You guys really did this to me. After seeing rave review after rave review, I finally gave in and picked up the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream. And honestly? I love it. I hate to be predictable, but here we are.

The texture is thick, definitely on the richer side, so I layer it as a sealing step over a lighter moisturizer. But ever since I added it to my routine, I’ve noticed a huge difference. My skin has been acting up lately, probably a mix of product switches and poor diet choices, and I’ve been dealing with breakouts, texture, and possible allergic reactions. But once this cream came into play, it felt like my skin finally exhaled.

The puffiness around my pores went down, the breakouts started to calm, and the overall inflammation just...chilled. On top of that, my skin has been holding onto hydration for way longer. Everything from my routine seems to stay in, and my face feels soft, calm, and noticeably more resilient.

I never tried the original version, but this one is rich and balmy, with tiny capsules that I assume are the ceramides. They melt right in, you won’t feel a thing while applying. I’m not sure I’d use it as my only moisturizer unless I was really parched, but as the final step in my routine, maybe with an oil on top, it's earned a permanent spot.

So yes, thank you for convincing me to try it. You were right. It’s really good.

Omg SAME. I was so resistant at first because the packaging looked kind of boring lol, but now I’m on my third tube. It’s the only thing that saved my barrier during tret purge season 😭

Okay but can we talk about how affordable it is for how effective it is??

Wait, do you apply it every night? I’ve been using it more like a “recovery mask” on barrier-compromised days, but now I’m wondering if I should go more consistent with it 🤔

Honestly I don’t even use a moisturizer under it anymore. Just a watery serum + this and I’m good. I think it depends on your climate but here in the UK it’s perfect on its own most days.

I’m glad it worked for you! I had a weird reaction to it—like tiny closed comedones around my chin after a week.
