Okay so first off, does it make my skin noticeably whiter?
Nah.
Does it make me like using it?
Absolutely.
The texture is smooth and not greasy, which is honestly what made me keep using it. Most vitamin C serums either make my skin feel sticky or disappear too fast, but this one? Feels like it belongs there. Like a comfortable tank top on a hot day. It’s just enough.
I’ve been using this for almost a month now, mostly in the morning, and it’s been holding up surprisingly well in this rising heat and humidity. I don’t feel like it clogs my pores or makes me oilier. I like how my skin feels fresh and a bit more even-toned when I stick with it.
Do I look dramatically brighter? I mean… maybe a little. But I didn’t expect miracles, and I think that’s important. This is just a solid addition to my routine, and I’m not mad about it. I’ll probably buy it again if I’m still sweating through July.
Here’s my current summer routine (humid weather + high UV + heat sensitivity edition):
• Morning:
1. Light gel toner (currently using Haruharu Wonder)
2. Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Serum
3. Water-based moisturizer (soon switching to a gel cream)
4. Sunscreen (alternating between Round Lab stick and Beauty of Joseon)
• Evening:
1. Ma:nyo cleansing oil + Anua heartleaf pore deep cleansing foam
2. Tonymoly wonder ceramide mochi toner
3. Goodal again, if I didn’t use it that morning
4. Illiyoon ceramide ato cream
On particularly hot days, I even keep the serum in the fridge. The coolness + light citrusy feel is so refreshing it makes my brain think I’ve done something luxurious for myself, which is… kinda the point, right?
So yeah, this serum?
Not revolutionary, but reliable. And sometimes that’s better.
Also, which water-based moisturizer do you use?
