Is Medicube Booster H Skincare Tool Worth the Hype?

My skin has long had this eternal dullness, kind of like a beige carpet in a rental, so I was curious enough to give the Medicube Booster H a try. Here are my thoughts.

First Impressions

So, it’s this handheld wand-looking device, very futuristic, with a metal head that could either transform my face or summon an alien invasion. Not gonna lie, I spent a good five minutes just staring at it, wondering what on earth I’d ordered.

My first thought? This better work, because I’m not rich enough to be this gullible. It’s marketed as a needle-free miracle tool that uses electroporation to push your serums and creams deeper into the skin.

There are five intensity levels. Being the cautious (and slightly dramatic) person I am, I started at level one expecting to feel like I was being tased. Instead, it was this gentle tingle like my face was getting a polite wake-up call. I slathered on my usual moisturizer and glided this little guy across my cheeks. Honestly? Weirdly satisfying.

As for results, I’d say it’s legit. My cheeks had this subtle bounce I haven’t seen since I was 25 and still believed in eight hours of sleep.

My Favorite Features

Electroporation.

It uses high-voltage pulses to create temporary micro-channels in your skin. I tried it with a random hyaluronic acid serum I had lying around, and my face soaked it up like I’d just wandered out of the Sahara.

Five Intensity Levels.

I started at level one, but by day three, I was cranking it up to five. It’s not painful just a stronger tingle that starts to feel like static. Imagine petting a cat that’s been rolling around on carpet.

Needle-Free Glow.

No microneedling trauma here. It gives that glass-skin glow without the bloodshed.

Compact and USB-Charged.

It’s small enough to stash in a drawer, and charges via USB, even from your laptop.

Works with Anything.

You don’t need fancy serums (though they probably help). I’ve used this with my budget Cerave moisturizer and still saw great results.

Pros

Hydration That Lasts.

My skin is usually pretty dry, but this locks in moisture like nothing else. After a week, I wasn’t just hydrated but I was juicy.

Softens Fine Lines.

The extra hydration really helps with those little lines. Not gone, but less “help me” and more “I’ve got this.” My mom even asked if I was doing something different, naturally, I just nodded like a skincare Yoda.

Pore Shrinkage.

My pores used to be so big I could rent them out as storage units. After a month? Definitely tighter. Not poreless, but no longer cratered.

Boosts Budget Products.

This tool really levels up drugstore skincare. My $8 moisturizer suddenly feels like it belongs in a boutique.

Low Effort, High Reward.

Five minutes a day, and I look like I’ve got my life together. No more "I’m too tired" excuses.

Cons

Level Five Is... a Lot.

The tingling at the highest level can be a surprise if you’re not ready. Not painful, just intense.

Product Drag.

If you don’t apply enough serum or cream, it can drag on the skin, kind of like a bad date. So, you may end up using more product than usual.

Overall

It’s quick, easy, and gives me enough glow to fake a full night’s sleep. If you’ve got five minutes, a good moisturizer, and a curiosity for gadgets, this one’s worth a try.

Is it worth it?

Yeah, I think so. It’s not a magic wand despite what I hoped, but it does make it feel like your skincare is finally doing something. My fine lines are calmer, my pores are better behaved, and my skin is hydrated enough not to scare small children. It’s not cheap, but it’s way cheaper than regular spa visits and it’s definitely earned its place on my shelf.

Do you think this works better with watery essences or thicker creams? I’ve got the I'm From Mugwort essence—wondering if it would absorb even better with this.

Would work well with both but if i have to choose one of them, I'd go with watery one. Also since you can change the level of intensity, it wouldn’t mind the type of products. Just you gotta use enough amount of them!

I’ve been pairing mine with the Torriden Dive-In Serum and OMG the bounce is REAL. Honestly shocked that this device makes even my budget hydrating serums feel high-end.

I've been seeing this LITERALLY everywhere and most of them got gifted from the brand. Is there anyone who ACTUALLY bought them and loved it? I feel like it's extra but we love extra fancy care....iykyk

Would you say this helps more with dullness or dehydration? My skin’s tired and flaky, and I’m not sure where to start…
