AI in Skincare: personalized routines or just a gimmick?

The integration of AI in skincare promises personalized routines based on individual skin analyses. I tried an app that scanned my face and recommended products. While some suggestions aligned with my needs, others felt generic. AI offers potential, but human intuition and understanding of one’s skin remain irreplaceable.

Tried an AI skincare app that scans your face and recommends products. Some suggestions were great but others felt off. Is AI really the future or just a gimmick?

I think it has potential but it's not perfect. It can't replace experience. Skin changes over time and it misses that nuance

Exactly, it's good for general suggestions but it doesnt account for seasonal changes or how my skin reacts to stress, for example.

@Influencer It can process data quickly and help track progress but it can't predict how your skin will respond. Human intuition still matters.

Totally it's nice to have it suggest products but knowing your own skin is key. You cant replace that with a scan.

@Influencer Yeah and not every product works for everyone. It might suggest something but you still need to test it on your skin.

For sure, also skincare is about the experience and ritual. Ai can't replicate that feeling or the emotional side of it.

@Influencer Right, it helps filter out some options but it's not a complete solution. We still need to experiment and adjust based on how we feel.

Exaclty, its a helpful tool yet i wouldn't trust it for my whole routine. Its still all about listening to our skin.

@Influencer Agreed. It's cool to get suggestions but we still call the shots. Our skin, our rules.

Exactly ai might help but the real results come from what works for you personally 😉

@Influencer AI will keep improving but it will never fully replace self-awareness and testing things out.

Right, it's useful but it's no substitute for the trial and error process we go through
