I really wanted to love this. The Torriden Solid In Ceramide Lip Essence had me at hello — the pastel case, the soft shape, the built-in keyring. I’m a sucker for anything that makes everyday products look cute and convenient.
But after using it for a week… I have to say, I’m disappointed.
The formula feels like a basic glossy balm, but not in a good way. It sits on top of the lips without really sinking in, which gives a shiny look but doesn’t feel nourishing.
If anything, it made my lips feel drier once the shine wore off — like it created a film instead of actually moisturizing anything.
I was hoping for a rich, buttery formula with deep ceramide repair vibes, but this feels more like a slippery surface gloss that gives temporary relief but not much else.
It’s not sticky, which I appreciate, and it smells neutral — no weird flavors or synthetic sweetness. But if I’m being honest, it just doesn’t do enough. Especially from a brand like Torriden, which I normally trust for barrier-care products.
The packaging is 10/10, truly adorable. But the product inside? Not worth the hype.
- how much does it cost?
- where did you purchase this?
- any bad ingredients?
- compared to other lip masks, which side would this win?
