Before starting, my skin is combination to oily
I’ve been using this ampoule for about three weeks now, and to be honest, I didn’t go in with high hopes but it’s really grown on me.
The texture is light as a feather, which is perfect for layering under makeup. It sinks in fast, no stickiness, and gives a subtle tightening feel, not in a dry or uncomfortable way, more like a gentle reminder that it's doing something.
As for the pore claims, no, it won’t magically erase them (let’s be real), but I have noticed my skin looking a bit more polished. Especially around my nose, things just look smoother and more refined, like a soft blur filter. There's also a slight brightening effect going on, which I’m guessing is thanks to the tomato extract antioxidants, maybe?
The scent is barely there clean and inoffensive and best of all, no irritation or breakouts, which is a big deal for my sensitive, sometimes-fickle combo skin.
Curious if anyone else has tried this one, what did you think?
AM:
Isntree Mugwort Powder Wash (gentle exfoliation)
Green Tomato Ampoule
Innisfree Volcanic PHA Pore Refining Toner (only around nose)
Matte-finish SPF (I use Dr.G Green Mild Up)
PM:
Oil cleanse + low pH gel cleanser
Green Tomato Ampoule (2 layers around nose/cheeks)
COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid (2–3x week only)
Etude SoonJung Barrier Cream
My pores have never looked this shy. No magical erasing, but they’re way less noticeable. Key = consistency. 🍅
