I really wanted to love the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream. I mean, it’s a cult favorite for a reason, right? Hydrating, soothing, packed with 92% snail mucin—it should have been everything my skin needed. But after using it consistently for weeks, I have to be honest: it just didn’t do much for me.
First, the texture. It’s sticky. And I know, that’s expected with snail mucin, but this one feels extra slimy in a way that doesn’t fully absorb into my skin. It leaves this weird film on my face that never quite sinks in, making layering with other products a hassle. I tried using less, patting it in, even giving it extra time to absorb, but nope—still that tacky feeling.
As for hydration? Meh. It’s okay, but I wouldn’t call it intensely moisturizing. If you have oily or combo skin, it might be enough, but for dry skin? Definitely not rich enough to be a standalone moisturizer. And considering it’s marketed as an all-in-one cream, I expected more.
Did it help with soothing or repairing my skin barrier? Honestly, I didn’t notice a difference. No glow, no extra plumpness, no dramatic improvements in my skin texture. It didn’t break me out, which is a plus, but it also didn’t really do anything beyond basic hydration.
I get why people love this—if you want a lightweight, gentle moisturizer that won’t cause issues, it’s fine. But for me? It was just... underwhelming. I finished the jar, but I wouldn’t repurchase. There are better snail creams out there that deliver more noticeable results.
