(dry skin)Torridon Dive-in Soothing Cream

Author’s Skin Type

Super sensitive, acne-prone skin that freaks out at the slightest change literally, even a breeze can set it off!

Ingredients

This has a lot of great ingredients for skin protection and hydration, like butylene glycol, glycerin, and hydrogenated didecene. It also doesn’t contain any of the 20 flagged or allergy-triggering ingredients, so even people with super sensitive skin (like me) can use it without worry.

My Thoughts

I originally bought this while searching for a new moisturizer after my holy grail one was reformulated into something completely different. Out of everything I’ve tried, this one has been the best match for my skin, so I actually finished the entire bottle and decided to repurchase.

Since my skin is so sensitive, I’m always nervous about trying new products, so the fact that I can use this without any irritation is already a huge win. That said, if I had to point out one downside, it’s that this moisturizer is really lightweight. It wasn’t quite enough even in the summer, and now that winter is here, my skin feels unbearably dry. It’s basically just pure hydration with no extra richness. So, I’ve been layering extra products to make up for it.

I feel like people with oilier skin than mine would absolutely love this. For me, it’s not perfect, but since I haven’t found anything better yet, I’m sticking with it for now!
