My bedtime routine ft. mugwort dreams and cloud skin

Let’s talk nighttime rituals. As a college student, there’s something weirdly comforting about a solid skincare routine after a long day — it’s like telling your skin, “You did your best today. Let’s rest now.”

Enter the HANYUL Pure Artemisia Cleansing Pack Foam, the ✨opening act✨ of my current favorite evening skincare routine.

I picked it up after hearing a classmate casually mention that it “smells like a spa and makes your pores look smaller without doing too much.” I was intrigued — and spoiler: she was right.

Here’s how I use it:

1. I wet my face with lukewarm water and gently lather a nickel-sized amount into a soft foam.

2. If I wore makeup that day, I use a cleansing balm first — but even on its own, this cleanser doesn’t leave any residue behind.

3. On tired days, I let it sit for a minute while I brush my teeth. It’s like giving your skin a mini mugwort mask.

The texture? Creamy but lightweight. The scent? Herbal, calming, and strangely nostalgic (reminds me of visiting my grandmother’s countryside house in Korea).

After rinsing, my skin feels like velvet. Not overly squeaky, just balanced. It pairs so well with the rest of my routine:

• Toner: Torriden Dive-In or Round Lab Dokdo

• Serum: Beauty of Joseon Calming or Mixsoon Bean

• Cream: Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Cream (sooo good for humid dorm nights)

• Extras: Pimple patches if needed, and a sleeping mask on super dry days.

What I love most is that this cleanser doesn’t fight my other products — it sets the stage for everything else to shine.

If you’re someone who finds joy in skincare as self-care, this one deserves a permanent spot in your top shelf.

idk why you’re romanticizing face wash like it’s a whole lifestyle

not every product has to have a backstory. it’s literally just foam wash
