Here's My Experience with Be Plain’s Cica Ampoule

Hi y'all 😀

I thought I’d share my experience of the Be Plain Cica-terol Ampoule, since I haven’t seen many people talk about it. I’ve been using it both morning and night for almost a week now.

Ingredients

Centella Asiatica Extract (69.4%), Butylene Glycol, Water (Aqua), Gly-cereth-26, Methylpropanediol, Glycerin, Polyglycerin-3, Saccharide Hydrolysate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Panthenol, Xylityiglucoside, Allantoin, Tromethamine, Acrylates/CIO-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Anhy-droxylitol, Xylitol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Glucose, Dicapryty Carbonate, Pentylene Glycol, Beta-Glucan, Sodium Hyaluronate, Beta-Sitosterol, Madecassoside, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cynanchum Atratum Extract, Hyaluro-nic Acid, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid

In my opinion, it’s a pretty neat lineup since there are great ingredients like ferments and, of course, Centella, which is the star of this product.

About My Skin

For reference, I have acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin that’s both dehydrated and oily in certain areas. I used to deal with fungal acne but have recovered from most of it, and my skin now tolerates some ingredients that aren’t FA-safe.

Texture

I’d describe the texture as somewhere in the middle in terms of thickness lighter than Purito’s HA 90 serum but not as watery as iUNIK’s Tea Tree Serum. It feels incredibly lightweight, sinks in quickly, and my skin really drinks it up. For those with sensitive skin, this did not irritate me at all. It actually feels lovely going on, even when my skin is having a bad day. You know how some products can sting or worsen irritation when your skin’s already unhappy? This doesn’t do that.

What’s good

This is so gentle. I noticed it helped reduce redness and calm inflamed pimples, especially those painful ones that are sore to the touch. The size, redness, and soreness of my breakouts noticeably improved. Be Plain claims relief and repairing on the label, and I’d agree that it really did bring relief. It also feels cooling on application, which is a bonus. Plus, living in Asia where K-beauty is easy to access, I was able to get this 50ml bottle for under USD 20, which feels like a steal.

What’s not so good

While it’s great for calming and soothing, I found it a bit lacking in hydration. My skin still felt like it needed more moisture. I’d recommend pairing it with a hyaluronic acid serum or layering a more hydrating essence or cream afterward.

Would I repurchase?

Yes, definitely!

In Short

If you’re dealing with sensitive, irritated, or acne-prone skin and looking for something calming and lightweight, I highly recommend giving this ampoule a try.

Used this when my breakouts were bad and it was super gentle and didn’t sting at all. But yeah, like you said, not super hydrating on its own. I always had to follow up with a cream or my skin would still feel tight.

Honestly agree with everything here. It calms redness for sure, but I wouldn’t expect it to transform your skin or anything.

Combo skin here too! This helped my inflamed spots calm down overnight sometimes. But if I don’t layer something hydrating on top, I wake up flaky around my nose lol. I keep it around as a backup for bad skin days.

Literally would rather get skin1004 centella ampoule (it gives more ampoule with half of the price)

@Influencer Same.. Honestly at this point most of the ampoules work similar so the only I would care is if the price is reasonable
