Full Hair Routine Review

I’ve been testing different hair oils for years, but somehow I always circle back to the OG: Moroccanoil Treatment.

There’s something effortlessly luxe about it. From the signature scent to the way it makes my hair feel like I just left a salon in a drama slow-mo exit scene.

How I use it in my full routine:

• Shampoo: Kérastase Bain Satin 2 (moisturizing, for dry ends)

• Conditioner: Aveda Nutriplenish Deep Moisture

• Once towel-dried: I use ONE pump of Moroccanoil Treatment, warmed up between my hands, then applied from mid-length to ends.

• Styling: Dyson Airwrap + a bit of heat protectant (currently using GHD Bodyguard)

• Finishing touch: Another half pump of Moroccanoil just on the tips for that high-shine gloss.

What I love most is that it doesn’t just coat the hair, but it actually nourishes it over time. I notice way fewer split ends and it tames my frizz even when I air-dry.

Plus, the scent is so addictive I’ve had people stop me to ask what perfume I’m wearing. Spoiler: it’s my hair.

If you’re into that healthy, flowing, touched-by-an-angel vibe, this is it.

I’ve been looking for a solid finishing oil that doesn’t just sit on top of my hair. Would you say it works well on fine hair too, or is it more for thicker textures?

Using Moroccanoil on and off too, and it really is one of those iykyk-products. It’s the only thing that makes my hair feel silky without going limp. Your routine sounds like the hair equivalent of skincare layering. Love the detail!

Am I the only supposing this is overpriced?

I feel like Moroccanoil doesn’t get enough credit for being both luxurious and actually effective. A lot of bougie oils make my hair smell nice but don’t do much.
