What's in My Shelf, Day 14

What's up grils! I wanted to share a roundup of all the skincare I’ve been using the past couple of months. I picked these up at the end of March so it’s been just over two months of consistent testing. Since I love writing quick reviews, I'm gonna show one item every day.

About Me

Skin type : Combo leaning dry

Skin concerns : Sensitivity, acne-prone, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and large pores

Climate : Mildly humid spring weather, nothing too extreme

Quick note : All of these products are fragrance and essential oil free. If I mention a scent, I’m referring to the natural scent that sometimes comes with unscented formulas.

So, Today I'm gonna talk about Beauty of Joseon Glow Propolis Serum.

Rating : 4/5 May Repurchase

I picked this up because I was looking to boost hydration in my routine and wow, it really delivered! I haven’t had any breakouts or irritation from it, which is always my biggest concern, and it layers beautifully after my propolis aloe toner. It adds this lovely extra layer of moisture that makes my skin feel plump and comfortable without being heavy or sticky.

After using it consistently, I definitely feel like I’ve reached my goal of adding more hydration to my routine. The only small downside? The bottle is on the smaller side, so I feel like I go through it pretty quickly but honestly, it’s good enough that I don’t even mind. I’m already planning to repurchase and am excited to try more from Beauty of Joseon!

If you're looking for a gentle, hydrating serum that gives your skin a nice glow without causing any issues, this one’s a great pick.

Here is my last day-shelf! Don't miss out!

Okay wait, so you layer this after a toner with propolis too? Is it ever too much? I was worried about doubling up on the same ingredient 🥲

Honestly I had the same thought but it actually worked so well for me! No pilling or irritation, but just more hydration. Might depend on your skin barrier though!

But do patch tests! Just in case you may have an allergy to propolis!

I tried this too and loved it at first, but didn’t notice much brightening tbh. It’s amazing for hydration though, totally agree!

I’ve been too scared to try anything with propolis but this review gives me hope 😭 combo + acne-prone here too!

Glad to hear that but don't forget to patch-test before you actually use it on your face!
