My 3PM reset button — d’Alba White Truffle First Spray Serum

You know that weird time in the afternoon when your face starts feeling dry, your makeup starts melting, and you’re emotionally ready to lie down on cold marble floor? That’s exactly when I reach for the d’Alba White Truffle First Spray Serum.

I didn’t expect to fall for this. I thought it was just another mist. But plot twist: this is not your average mist. It’s like a toner, serum, and lightweight moisturizer all packed into a single fine mist that sprays like a dream. No chunky drops. No aggressive spritz to the eyeball. Just a thin, even veil of hydration that makes your skin feel like it’s had a double espresso and a nap.

I mostly use this:

• Right after cleansing, instead of toner (especially when I’m feeling lazy)

• Midday, over makeup — to revive dull skin and add a glowy sheen

• After finishing my routine at night, just for that extra touch of moisture and luxury

Texture-wise? It’s light but not watery. Shakes up like a two-layer oil-water hybrid (so don’t forget to shake!). But don’t let the word “oil” scare you — it never feels greasy or heavy, which was crazy shocking for me. It absorbs fast and leaves this really natural, luminous finish. Not sticky. Not shiny. Just… healthy. (I didn’t know this was possible)

The scent? Subtle and spa-like. It lingers just a bit but in a very boujee, herbal kind of way. It makes me feel like I should be in a robe drinking infused water, and honestly, I’m not mad at it. I actually love it.

Has it transformed my skin? Slightly. But has it saved my skin from looking dull, flaky, and sleep-deprived on more days than I can count? Absolutely.

If you’re a dry-skin girlie or someone who’s makeup turns cakey by lunchtime — this is a spritz of sanity in your day.

    Wait I need details :
-Does this work over powder without making it patchy?
-How's the lasting power compared to MAC Fix+?
-Would this clog pores for combo/oily skin?
-Is the truffle extract just marketing or actually beneficial?

This isn't makeup fixer, it's just hydrating serum spray mist! I spray over my makeup and it never ruined my look! Obviously you wouldn't want to spray it like crazy

    After 2 months of use,
    PROS
    Finest mist nozzle in existence
Actually hydrates instead of just wetting skin
Works as skincare AND makeup refresher
    Luxe scent without being overpowering
Oil-serum hybrid means no tightness after

    CONS
Price per ml hurts my soul
    Glass bottle = travel anxiety
Oil droplets can separate if not shaken well
Scent might bother super sensitive folks
Makes you look fancy so people keep borrowing it

I totally agree that it ACTUALLY hydrates instead of making your skin wet. The serum layer makes the whole difference

Counterpoint is I mixed glycerin + distilled water in a spray bottle and got similar results for $2. But will admit the d'Alba mist is finer and smells way better...damnit now I want it again.

I got gifted a bunch of these and I'm loving it but I don't know if I will pay my own money to use it.. It's more of an extra step rather than must-have item

Does this actually give you the glow tho?? Is it like sticky, greasy glow? Or clean, jjon-jjon glow?

Based on my experience with it, it def gave that dewiness!!! No stickiness, no greasiness! That Jjon-Jjon feeling is real.
