Arencia Mochi Cleanser isn’t a pore miracle, but it’s a solid everyday wash.

I’ve been using the Arencia Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser for a couple of weeks now, and here’s the honest take: it’s not a miracle worker, but it’s a cleanser I trust. Which, for a daily face wash, might be even better.

Let’s get one thing out of the way first — if you’re buying this for blackhead removal or sebum control, you’ll probably be disappointed.

It doesn’t deep-clean in that way. I didn’t see a noticeable difference in the congestion around my nose or chin, even after consistent use. It’s not the kind of cleanser that gives you that ultra-purified, squeaky-clean feel. And it definitely won’t replace exfoliation.

That said, where it shines is in how gentle and balanced it is. The texture is thick and creamy when it comes out — like a soft mochi paste — and it lathers into a low, cushiony foam that feels plush but not stripping. I have combo skin that gets sensitive in colder months, and this is the kind of cleanser I can use both morning and night without worrying about tightness or over-drying.

The scent is subtle but refreshing — kind of like a mild herbal green tea, which makes it a calming start or end to the day. I especially like using it after a long day out, when I want a thorough but non-aggressive cleanse before my barrier-care steps.

Would I use it to remove heavy sunscreen or long-wear foundation on its own?

Probably not — I always pair it with a cleansing balm or oil. But as a second cleanse, it’s great. No residue, no weird film, and it rinses off cleanly.

So no, it’s not a power cleanser. But for someone looking for a reliable, non-stripping, pleasantly textured daily face wash, I think this checks all the right boxes. Simple, no-fuss, and easy to keep reaching for.

I love that you highlighted it’s gentle and balanced. That’s exactly what I need for my combo, sensitive skin. Sometimes I just want something that won’t mess with my moisture barrier, so this sounds perfect for daily use! Thx xx

Unless you are looking for a pack cleanser, there's a lot of gentle cleansers with cheaper price!

I got this once out of curiosity but didn't repurchase. I felt like it was too normal for its price

I appreciate the straightforward review. I’m looking for a cleanser like this that doesn’t dry me out or leave any weird residue.

Have you tried Arencia green tea rice cake cleanser?? It's from same brand and I personally loved this better than this pack cleanser!

This doesn't dry your skin out or leave weird residue, but not powerful at all to use it alone

Do you think this is gentle enough to be my morning cleanser?

This review reminded me of green tomato clay mask cleanser. If you haven't use it before, try it! I'm sure you would like it as it has similar texture and also it has better cleansing power. Also you can use it as a wash-off mask too!
