ILLIYOON Fresh Moisture Scrub Wash — My Summer-Ready Shower Routine

I used to dread body scrubs — too harsh, too perfumed, or just… too messy. But the ILLIYOON Fresh Moisture Scrub Wash? It quietly changed the game for me.

My summer body routine starts with this scrub, and it’s been making all the difference in how my skin feels post-shower.

The gel base is surprisingly gentle — no overly aggressive granules here.

The exfoliants feel like micro-particles suspended in a soothing, creamy base. There’s zero redness, even after I go in on my arms and shoulders where I sometimes get small bumps.

This isn’t a once-a-week kind of scrub. I use it 2–3x a week in the mornings, especially after a long walk or workout. It leaves my skin feeling clean but never stripped — which is rare for a scrub in this price range.

What I pair it with:

• Off&On pH Balancing Body Wash (before scrub): It gives a clean canvas without interfering with the exfoliation.

• APLB Glutathione Niacinamide Body Lotion (after towel dry): Locks in moisture and helps fade uneven tone on my shoulders and back — I’ve seen actual texture improvement after consistent pairing.

• Round Lab Mugwort Calming Mist (on extra hot days): I mist it all over after lotion. It seals in hydration and helps soothe freshly exfoliated skin.

The ILLIYOON scrub smells light and airy — a soft, non-intrusive freshness that doesn’t clash with anything else I use. I love that it feels clean but not clinical. It’s become a go-to for prepping my skin before body SPF or anything sleeveless.

Honestly, if you’re trying to look AND feel “glowy” this summer without going too hard — start here.

The no-redness part is SO REAL. I can go in and not come out looking like a tomato.

This is the kind of product that’s lowkey boring but then you realize you’re loyal for life.

Wish someone had told me about this sooner... I grabbed it on a whim during an Olive Young haul and now I'm hooked lol The way it exfoliates without turning my skin into sandpaper?? Beautiful!! My keratosis pilaris has never been smoother.

How does this compare to the Necessaire body scrub? I'm torn between the two. And curious whether it leaves any oily residue or not?! My shower floor can't handle another slippery product.

Umm sounds fine but not revolutionary. The exfoliation seems almost too gentle but my rough elbows need something stronger. And at $18 for a small tube? I'll stick with my DIY sugar scrub.
