So listen. I did NOT fly all the way to Korea thinking I was gonna buy BIOSILK. Like, girl, this is LITERALLY at Target back home. I’ve walked past it a hundred times.
But then Korea said, “Let’s slap a cute pink character on it,” and suddenly my brain was like: WE NEED THIS IMMEDIATELY.
Like. WHY does Korea make EVERYTHING more adorable?? I don’t even know what this character is called, but it was pink. It had a little smiley face. I blacked out and bought it. No regrets.
Now let’s talk product. I already knew I liked the original Biosilk Silk Therapy, she’s a classic.
BUT this one is the Hair Milk version and BABY. I FORGOT HOW GOOD MILK TEXTURES ARE. It’s light but still gives you that rich, silky finish without the heavy oiliness. My wavy hair was like THANK YOU for not drowning me in silicone sludge.
The consistency is like this soft, creamy lotion that melts into your hair and makes it feel like buttered silk??? And unlike some leave-ins that just coat your strands, this one actually soaks in and makes my ends look ALIVE again.
Bonus: it doesn’t weigh down my hair AT ALL. I put it on damp hair before blow drying and it made everything smoother, glossier, and SOFT TO THE TOUCH. Like I literally couldn’t stop touching my own hair on the subway. (Sorry, Seoul citizens.)
The scent?? CLASSIC BIOSILK. Slightly floral, slightly sweet, very clean. It’s not overpowering, just ✨pretty✨ — like I smell like a girl who drinks expensive tea and wears silk robes.
Moral of the story: I bought it for the aesthetic. I stayed for the performance. And now I might just be a hair milk girl forever.
If you’re in Korea and you see this adorable pink edition — DON’T THINK. JUST BUY.
Your inner child AND your split ends will thank you.
PINK POWER FOREVER. 💕🥛
