[Review] I'm from rice toner

I've been loving the I'm From Mugwort Essence, so I started looking into other toners and essences from the brand. I wasn’t particularly interested in the Fig Boosting Essence, but the Rice Toner caught my

eye, so I decided to give it a try! Lately, I’ve been switching my skincare to vegan products one by one, and I’m really drawn to I’m From’s brand philosophy.

[Texture & Absorption]
This toner has a slightly viscous texture, so I use it more as an absorption toner rather than a wiping one—and I absolutely love it! My skin is on the sensitive side, so I usually avoid wiping toners and prefer to pat them in instead. Since it has a bit of weight to it, it doesn’t feel too light, but once it sinks in, it leaves my skin feeling really nourished and supple.

[Moisturizing Power]
I’d say the hydration level is pretty average. It feels a little silky when first applied, but once it’s fully absorbed, it has a nice, refreshing finish while still keeping my skin feeling hydrated. I also love that I can layer it multiple times without it getting heavy or sticky!

[Gentleness & Suitability]
The formula is super gentle, so I think most people could use it without any issues—unless you have extremely sensitive skin. It’s not one of those toners that gives you instant, dramatic results, but it’s a fantastic everyday option for keeping your skin moisturized and healthy!

[A Small Annoyance]
Since this is a bi-phase toner, you have to shake it before each use to mix the layers, which can be a bit of a hassle. If you're not used to shaking your skincare, you might find it a little annoying!

Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and can see myself reaching for it daily. If you’re looking for a gentle, hydrating toner that layers beautifully, this one’s definitely worth trying! ^^
