The Ultimate Guide to Keeping Your Skin Hydrated During the Cold Winter Months

Winter can be harsh on your skin, but staying hydrated is key. Use a rich moisturizer, layer with hydrating serums, and don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Adding a humidifier to your room can work wonders too!

What about oily-dehydrated skin?? Everyone says to use a rich moisturizer and then I break out immediately. I’ve found that layering a hydrating toner and squalane works better than anything heavy. Occlusives make me greasy and flaky somehow??

Don’t sleep on natural oils! Rosehip or marula oil over a light moisturizer seals everything in beautifully. And drinking herbal teas like nettle or chamomile really helps too. It’s not just about topical stuff. Hydration starts inside 🫶

Hydration is must but also dont forget about SPF!!! Snow can reflect UV and you can still damage your skin even when it's cloudy.
