week 4: i think i get it now. i’m impressed... kind of?

okay, okay. i’m finally ready to admit it. after a month of using this torriden dive-in serum, i can honestly say my skin feels a lot better than when i first started. 💁‍♀️ at first i was skeptical, like, eh, will this really work? but i’m actually pretty happy with the results now.

here’s the thing: my skin is soft, like baby’s butt soft. 😂 i wake up in the morning and my face feels smooth—like, hydrated but not greasy, which is my ultimate goal. i had those dry patches around my cheeks that were so annoying, but now? they’re gone. i feel like my skin finally has that healthy glow that i was waiting for. it’s subtle, but it’s there. i’d call it more of a lit from within vibe. 😏✨

one of the biggest things i noticed after a month is that my makeup actually goes on so much better. i don’t know if it’s the serum itself or the fact that my skin’s more hydrated, but my foundation just sits better on my face. i don’t get that dry, patchy look anymore, which was honestly my biggest problem before. 🙌

BUT (yeah, you knew that was coming), the serum’s not perfect. while my cheeks and jawline are all glowy and happy, my forehead’s still giving me a little bit of trouble. it’s definitely more hydrated than before, but those little flakies still pop up sometimes. i mean, it’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something i’ve been keeping an eye on. 🧐

also, i do wish the serum was a little thicker. i feel like sometimes i need more than one layer to get that fully plump look, and when i start layering too much, it starts feeling a little heavy. but, honestly? that’s my only real gripe with it. and like, that’s not a huge deal.

final thoughts:

soooo, after a month, i’m pretty impressed. i’ve been using it every night, and my skin’s been smoother, more hydrated, and generally looking a lot less tired. while it’s not a 10/10 miracle worker for every part of my face (looking at you, forehead), it’s definitely earned a spot in my routine.

would i recommend it? yeah, if you have dry or combo skin and just need something that’ll keep your skin looking fresh and hydrated, this is definitely worth a try. it’s not groundbreaking, but it does the job and doesn’t make my skin freak out, so i’m here for it. 🌊💧

overall rating: 7/10

if you’re like me, always searching for that next best thing but getting disappointed 80% of the time, this might just be the one to make it to your routine! ✨ it’s simple, it’s hydrating, and it works well with other products—what more could you ask for?
