Finding your perfect foundation shade can be tricky! Test it on your jawline in natural light, and pick a formula that matches your undertone—cool, warm, or neutral. A perfect match makes all the difference!

Can’t stress this enough! Match to your chest, not your face. Your face is probably more sun-protected or flushed from irritation, so it’s not always a good reference. I always swatch along my jaw and check my neck/chest to avoid the dreaded floating head look

What about wrists? I've seen a lot of ppl do the test on them.

How are we supposed to do this in drugstores where everything’s sealed and fluorescent?? I’ve bought so many wrong shades because of bad lighting and no testers. Honestly, I just buy 2 shades and mix now, it’s the only way I get it right.

Been there before and it's really frustrating but haven't actually thought about getting two shades.

It helps to know your undertone beyond just ‘cool’ or ‘warm.’
If your veins look greenish, you’re likely warm.
Bluish? Cool.
A mix? Probably neutral.

Heard thus is how Koreans check their skin tones but I'm doubtful with this working for someone with paler skin...?

Yesss it does work. While i was in Korea, got the skin tone test and found out i have cool tone. After that, i changed all my makeup products to match it and so many friends complemented about my look thanks to it!!

@Influencer Also the tester said you can check it with how the veins look on your wrist.
