My full base routine for hydrated, tight, long-lasting makeup (especially for combo skin!)
Skin Type: Combination, slightly dehydrated — oily T-zone & dry cheeks
🌿
Step 1: JUNGSAEMMOOL Essential Water Cream Light
Texture is super light — almost gel-cream, melts right into skin with no sticky residue. I apply a generous layer and let it sink for 2-3 minutes. It’s the perfect first step for creating that bouncy, plump canvas. It gives me hydration without excess oiliness later in the day.
💦
Step 2: Essential Water Micro Fitting Mist
I use this twice — once right after the cream to seal in hydration, and again after my base to lock everything in. The mist is super fine (like, cloud-level fine), so it doesn’t disturb your makeup. Perfect for layering without cakiness.
💫
Step 3: Essential Skin Nuder Cushion in Light
This cushion is a semi-matte finish but it glides like silk thanks to the hydrated prep. One thin layer gives beautiful even tone and it doesn’t cling to dry spots (especially around my nose & chin). What I love most: it sets itself. No powder needed unless I want to mattify the T-zone. My skin looks naturally perfected, not masked.
Tip: For even longer wear, I spritz one more layer of the Mist on top after applying the cushion. Think glassy, velvety skin with minimal effort.
Been using this full trio for weeks now, and I swear it’s made base makeup feel like skincare. If you’re someone who loves a hydrated prep but needs a base that actually stays put in warm weather, this combo = gold.
Skincare -> sunscreen-> primer -> setting mist -> foundation-> do other makeup -> powder -> setting mist
It lasts the whole day even in summer.
