Medicube Salmon DNA PDRN Pink Peptide Serum – Not Just Hype, But Real Skincare Science

I’ve used this serum consistently for over a month now, and I can finally say: this isn’t just pretty marketing. It’s one of the few products I’ve used recently where I saw a real, consistent change in my skin’s overall texture and resilience — especially during those weeks when my barrier felt compromised and nothing else seemed to calm it down.

First, the texture. It has this luxurious, slightly viscous consistency that spreads beautifully but doesn’t feel heavy. It absorbs slowly enough to feel like you’re really pampering your skin, but without any stickiness left behind. No piling under sunscreen or makeup. In fact, it sits really nicely under a cushion or light foundation, adding a subtle glow.

Now, let’s talk about ingredients. Because that’s where this serum stands out. The PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is extracted from salmon DNA and is known for its regenerative properties. Combined with pink peptides, it’s designed to support skin repair, firmness, and elasticity. And while I don’t expect miracles from any product, I do expect performance at this price, and it delivered. My skin felt noticeably more hydrated, not just on the surface, but deeper. That kind of hydrated where you wake up and your skin still feels soft — not tight or dry by morning.

What really stood out to me was the subtle but visible glow that developed after about 2 weeks. Not an oily shine, but that healthy inner-light kind of radiance. My redness around the nose and chin area also noticeably calmed down, which I wasn’t even expecting from this serum. It doesn’t claim to be a soothing product per se, but I think the hydration barrier support helped indirectly.

Would I recommend this? Yes, but with one note. This isn’t an instant-gratification serum. It’s for someone looking to build real, long-term skin health. If your routine already covers cleansing and barrier basics, this could be that next-step serum to support firmness and overall bounce. Definitely best for dry to combo skin, or anyone noticing early signs of dullness and fatigue.

The bottle is sleek, hygienic with the pump dispenser, and lasts surprisingly long. I’ve used it almost daily and still have plenty left.

One thing I’d note: don’t use it right after exfoliating unless your barrier is strong 😂 it’s potent enough that your skin should be prepped and balanced.

Overall, this serum made me curious (in a good way) about the potential of biotech-meets-skincare. It’s one of those rare serums that earns its hype over time. Give it patience, and your skin will thank you.

Looked this on Incidecoder and it has 10000 ppm PDRN and 4-5% Niacinamide! Seems like a solid serum.

Debatable. Saw a lot of people do not like this saying it doesn't give the noticeable difference 😒. Not sure if I should give it a try or not.
