Today, I'd love to introduce my experience on three sunscreens. All three are chemical sunscreens.
Purito Green Level Unscented Sun SPF 50+ PA++++
Score : 9/10
This sunscreen is a cult favorite for a reason. It contains skin-loving ingredients like centella asiatica, niacinamide, and adenosine. It's free of artificial fragrance and alcohol, and best of all, no white cast. It also doubles as a moisturizer for me, making my routine simpler.
The texture is creamy but takes a few extra minutes to fully absorb. Once it does, it leaves a comfortable, non-greasy finish. I've repurchased this multiple times, and it remains a staple.
Keep Cool Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence SPF 50+ PA++++
Score : 10/10
This one quickly became a favorite. It features bamboo water, centella, antioxidants, and seven types of hyaluronic acid. No alcohol, fragrance, or white cast. The texture is in that sweet spot between a gel, serum, and cream, which is lightweight, smooth, and super easy to apply.
The micro-tip tube packaging is mess-free and travel-friendly. It absorbs faster than Purito and feels so light that I never hesitate to reapply. I already have a backup ready to go!
Abib Quick Sunstick Protection Bar SPF 50+ PA++++
Score : 8.5/10
This is the easiest to apply of the three, no mess, no hands needed. It’s alcohol-free, fragrance-free, and contains soothing ingredients like green tea, aloe, and centella. I love using this for reapplication throughout the day, especially when I’m active or outdoors.
It does leave a slight sheen on the skin, which might not work for everyone, but I personally don’t mind. It's my go-to for workouts, errands, or just when I’m in a rush.
Conclusions
These three sunscreens made sunscreen application feel less like a chore and more like something to look forward to. I started with just the Purito, but soon realized that having options based on my skin's daily needs made it easier to stay consistent.
- Need something nourishing and reliable? Purito.
- Want lightweight hydration with a luxurious texture? Keep Cool.
- Need SPF on the go or for reapplication? Abib stick.
Having different formats and textures on hand really made sunscreen a daily habit I actually enjoy:)
