Affordable Luxury? My Review of 3CE’s Eye Products and Top Picks

As a long-time fan of 3CE's lip products, I was excited to explore their eye makeup offerings for the first time. Overall, I was impressed by the quality and performance of each item in this haul. The formulas are smooth, making blending effortless, and the pigmentation is buildable and ideal for both beginners and those who prefer a softer application. While each palette is beautiful, some shades are quite similar, so purchasing multiple options in the same color family may not be necessary.

🌰 #Almond Fudge – $12 (sale price)

This palette caught my attention due to the yellow shade, though it turned out to lean more orange. The dark brown glitter is a standout and it blends into a lovely copper hue when applied lightly. The palest shade contains just a hint of shimmer, which makes it perfect for everyday use.

🎨 #Side by Side – $12 (sale price)

Although the promo images suggested a muted palette, the actual shades are slightly more vibrant. The two shimmer tones are stunning and versatile, working beautifully for both subtle and bold looks. The texture is exceptionally soft, possibly the smoothest I’ve encountered.

🌹 #Rose Latte – $16 (sale price)

The deeper tones in this palette were more vivid than I anticipated. The lightest shade, which has a slight pink undertone, serves as a charming base for fair skin. However, the top two shades are quite light and may not show up as well on deeper skin tones.

✨ #Double Note – $10.50 (sale price)

This was the standout of the haul. The pointed silicone applicator allows for precise application, and despite the chunky glitter, it feels weightless on the eyes. A small dot under the pupil along the lower lash line adds a beautiful sparkle without looking overdone. It's easy to remove and doesn’t irritate the skin. Note : this is a glitter topper, not a glitter eyeliner.

Comparison Notes

Having previously used Rom&nd palettes, I found 3CE’s formula to be slightly superior, less chalky with a smoother finish. The glitter textures remind me of Pat McGrath’s, though these sheer out more subtly. In terms of feel, they’re most comparable to Chanel's quads, but at a fraction of the price. These palettes offer excellent value, especially when purchased on sale, and their compact packaging makes them perfect for on-the-go use. It's easy to see why products like #Double Note are so beloved among Chinese beauty influencers.

If anyone is interested in reviews of 3CE’s lip products, I’d be happy to share those as well!💖

Okay wait, why did no one tell me that 3CE’s glitter feels like Pat McGrath?! For $10.50?! I’ve been sleeping.

RIGHT? And the fact that it’s weightless and easy to remove is basically witchcraft. That whole part about using a dot under the eye? I’m already picturing it in my summer makeup looks.

Was sold at "Chanel Vibes for less." Like, give me luxe without the guilt, thank you. Also, silicone applicator? Didn't know i needed that until now.

Honestly, I didn't even have 3CE on my radar for eye stuff. I thought they were just the lip tint brand everyone hoards. This review just added four things to my wishlist.

Same, though I'm kinda wary of the similar shades in the palettes. I don't wanna end up buying duplicates that all swatch the same. But double note sounds like a no-brainer!

Totally, I'm thinking one palette max and then grab the glitter. Almond Fudge sounds perfect for daily wear, especially that pale shimmer.

I’ve got my eye on Side by Side. That smooth texture part? I’m tired of chalky mattes that blend like sidewalk dust.

It's wild that the textures are this soft at that price. 3CE is stepping up. I feel like they are finally getting the eye game right.

Can we also talk about how the packaging is compact? I love a palette I can actually carry without needing a separate makeup pouch and bodyguard.
