Didn’t think I’d like this… but she’s growing on me.

Okay, real talk. When I first opened the Dr.G Black Snail Cream, I was like, “This smells like something my grandma would keep in her vanity from 1992.” 😂 It had that classic thick cream scent, and the packaging? Let’s just say she’s not winning any beauty pageants.

But here’s the twist. I kept using it. And now? I lowkey love it.

I started applying it at night after toner and serum, and wow… my skin wakes up so soft. The texture is rich and dense, so you don’t need much. Just a small scoop, and it glides on like a warm hug.

I have normal to dry skin, and this makes me feel like I’m wearing a cozy sleeping mask, without the stickiness. It doesn’t feel occlusive, just deeply nourishing.

It’s too early to say what kind of long-term results I’ll see, but short-term? My skin looks fresher in the morning, and even my cheeks (which usually get flaky) are staying hydrated. It feels like a night cream that actually does something, not just sits on top.

The scent I didn’t like at first? It’s oddly comforting now. 😂 And I kinda respect that it’s not pretending to be trendy. She’s here to work.

So yeah, not a love at first sight, but definitely a cozy kind of love. Highly recommend as a PM cream if you want something reparative and glow-giving without feeling like a greaseball.
