Woke up like this? Thanks to COSRX

Okay… so I’ll admit it. I’ve never really given gel cleansers a real shot before. As someone with combo-to-oily skin that also freaks out over everything (yes, I’m talking to you, sensitivity), I was always drawn to thick foams or creamy formulas. The whole idea of a gel cleanser just sounded… too light? Like, how could it actually clean my skin without drying it out or making it feel oily two hours later?

But the COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser? It kept popping up everywhere. YouTube, Reddit, beauty subreddits, friends’ shelves, and eventually I gave in.

First impression? Super fresh. The tea tree scent is definitely noticeable, and while I’m not obsessed with strong essential oil smells, this one didn’t bother me too much. It’s more “refreshing morning spa” than “aggressive eucalyptus punch,” if that makes sense.

Texture-wise, it’s a clear gel (smooth and slightly slippery) and it spreads easily without needing a lot. It doesn’t foam up like traditional cleansers, which made me doubt its cleansing power at first, but it rinses off cleanly and leaves behind that I-didn’t-strip-my-face feeling.

I’ve been using it for both my AM and PM routine for over a week now, and I’m surprised at how balanced my skin feels after. My T-zone doesn’t get as shiny by noon, and I haven’t had any irritation or weird little whiteheads like I sometimes do when I switch cleansers. It also plays nicely with other products . No weird reactions when I layer on toner, serum, or moisturizer. I know my skin isn't the most clear skin, but trust me, it was worse before 😂

If you’re like me, dealing with mild breakouts, oiliness, but also randomly dry patches and a general fear of disrupting your skin, this feels like a super safe choice. The low pH really does help in keeping things calm and not triggering unnecessary redness or irritation.

I wouldn’t say it gave me glowing, glass skin overnight (let’s be real), but as a daily cleanser that respects your moisture barrier and keeps things clean without fuss? This one earns a permanent spot on my shelf.

It’s not loud or flashy, but it works. And honestly? That’s the kind of product I want in my life right now.

I thought I worked so gently that this was only worked for morning routine not for the cleansing makeup as the name suggests

Good price but it kinda has strange scent, other than that it's fine itself

I've been using it for my morning cleanser, it never irritated me so far but I'm kinda skeptical whenever I read some articles saying it's better not to use any cleanser in the morning

I know, and that why I don't use any soap or cleanser in the morning and it's good enough

But what I wanna add is that if you have very oily skin, you'd get greasy while in sleep so it'd be better to use it
