Not me becoming a body care girly in my late 20s lol. I used to think body lotion was just for dry elbows in winter, but turns out some of these formulas actually do things. I picked up the APLB Glutathione Niacinamide Body Lotion on a whim during a YesStyle haul, and lowkey… I’m kinda impressed??

First of all, texture: it’s like this light cream-gel hybrid that spreads super easily but doesn’t vanish like water. It actually moisturizes, but without the stickiness I usually hate. I can throw on jeans five minutes later and not feel gross, which is a big deal for me.
ㅤ
Now the fun part — glutathione + niacinamide. My face LOVES these ingredients, so I was curious how they’d work on my arms and legs. After using it every night for about a month (not religiously but like... most nights), I started noticing that my arms looked way more even in tone. I’m not saying I turned into a porcelain goddess overnight, but there’s a visible difference in how dull my skin used to look vs now.

Also, I had these weird hyperpigmentation spots on my upper arms from old bug bites?? (gross, I know) and while they’re not gone, they definitely faded. I wasn’t even expecting that to happen so bonus points there.

It doesn’t have fragrance, which is usually boring for me, but in this case it works — I can layer perfume or body spray without anything clashing. Plus, no stinging or irritation even when I use it after shaving. And I’ve got sensitive skin, so that’s saying something.

Only real con: the pump bottle is kind of small. Like if you’re using this for full-body hydration daily, you’ll run through it in 2–3 weeks tops. And it ain’t the cheapest thing ever. But for what it does? I’d say it’s worth a spot in your “treat yourself” lineup.

Anyway, if you’ve been looking for a body lotion that actually makes your skin look better over time and not just for like 10 minutes after applying… this might be your thing. It’s giving subtle glow-up ✨ without trying too hard. Would repurchase when it’s on sale tbh.
