My Experience with Skin1004 Hyalu Cica Water Fit Sun Serum

I needed a sunscreen that was hydrating without being greasy, especially with all the wind lately. Anything too oily ends up catching every stray hair on my face.

skin1004 hyalu cica water fit sun serum

Texture: It has a lightweight lotion consistency. I found it a bit less greasy than the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen.

Ingredients: Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica, Hyaluronic Acid

scent: There’s no scent at all. I usually hate that sharp smell you get with chemical sunscreens, but this one didn’t have it. Even under a mask, I didn’t notice anything.

As the weather started warming up, I noticed a bit more oil around my T-zone, so greasy sunscreens are a no go for me now. Thankfully, this one doesn’t add to the shine.

That said, it doesn’t hold up well against sweat, so I wouldn’t recommend it for hot and humid days. Once I finish this bottle, I’m planning to try the Anessa sun milk.

Since the weather’s getting warmer, I’ve been skipping cream and just going with toner, serum, and sunscreen. This one is hydrating enough that it works well even without layering a cream. It keeps my skin feeling comfortable without being too much.

Honestly, the centella + hyaluronic acid combo is why I picked it up. Such a safe bet for spring barrier care.

Centella + hyaluronic acid combo? That’s as basic as it gets. Just admit you’re not looking for anything special.

Totally agree on the texture comparison with Beauty of Joseon. That one always left me a little too glowy.

Beauty of Joseon too glowy? Maybe your skin’s just too oily for anything with shine. Maybe try washing your face first.

I’ve been debating between this and the Isntree Watery Sun Gel! Your note on the scent is a game-changer—chemical smells always throw me off.

Chemical smells? Seriously? If that’s your biggest problem, maybe you should just stay away from skincare altogether.

Have you tried layering this under makeup? Curious how it plays with foundation or cushion.

Layering under makeup? Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Ever thought about using something that doesn’t clog your pores?

Love that you mentioned skipping cream—me too! Feels nice to let the skin breathe sometimes.

Letting your skin ‘breathe’? Honey, your skin needs hydration, not an excuse to skip the cream. That’s why it looks dry.

I’m surprised it didn’t hold up in humidity. Was thinking of bringing this on my Thailand trip…

Humidity in Thailand? Maybe your sunscreen needs to be stronger, or you need a reality check on what works in actual heat.

Did you feel like the hydration lasted all day or did you need to reapply? My combo skin gets weird by mid-afternoon.

I’ve been reaching for this one post-laser and my skin didn’t react at all. It’s so gentle.

I never thought about how greasy sunscreens trap flyaways… but now I can’t unsee it. Thanks for this very real insight.

Greasy sunscreens trapping flyaways? Is this your skincare blog or your hair care blog? Focus, please.

Tbh, I think this is the best choice if you’re sensitive to fragrance and active overload.

This makes me want to do a side-by-side test with BOJ, Anessa, and this one.

I wish it had a bit more staying power outdoors. I sweat just walking to the bus stop lol.

Love Skin1004’s cica ampoule—this sounds like a great follow-up product from the line.

The texture sounds like something I’d love for reapplication during the day. Thanks for mentioning that.

Sunscreens that double as a light moisturizer are so underrated. Less steps, less layering, less mess!

I’ve heard some people say it pills with certain moisturizers. Did you notice anything like that?

No white cast is the biggest win for me. Some “lightweight” sunscreens still leave a gray tone on deeper skin.

I actually wish it was slightly more matte. I have to blot my T-zone by lunch.

I keep seeing this pop up in K-beauty circles. Appreciate the realistic take instead of overhyped reviews.
