Texture & Performance

• Texture : Surprisingly lightweight though I expected something thick or sticky, but it feels comfortable and absorbs quickly.

• Sticky? : No

• Greasy? : No

• Does it ball up? : Not for me.

• Sting on sensitized skin (shaving/retinol use)? : No, in fact, it soothes well, thanks to Centella, Panthenol, and Beta-Glucan.

• Layerability: Yes, plays well with other products. Just avoid layering an oil directly on top to prevent pilling.

• Fragrance : Fragrance-free & essential oil-free — no detectable scent.

Seasonal Suitability

• Oily skin : Best for winter

• Dry skin : Great for summer though you might want something richer in winter

What I Like

• Fragrance & EO-free

• Lightweight but hydrating

• Absorbs quickly

• Soothing and non-irritating

• Cruelty-free

• Suitable for sensitive skin

• Easy to layer

What I Don’t Like

• May not suit Malassezia-prone skin

• May not be enough for very dry skin without a richer cream

• I personally prefer an even thinner texture  like The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics or NIOD MMHC

Use Under Makeup?

Works well with no issues under sunscreen or foundation.

Usage Timeline

• How long have I been using this? 2–3 months

• Will I finish it? Yes

• How long will it last? Likely another 2 months

• The effect? My skin feels more hydrated overall with no stickiness or irritation

Rating & Final Thoughts

4 / 5 (almost 3.9)

A reasonably priced, well-formulated serum that hydrates effectively without irritation. The 7 types of hyaluronic acid are a standout (most products just use one), and it contains several soothing ingredients that sensitive skin will appreciate. It’s not my ideal texture (I prefer very thin, watery formulas), but it’s far from gloopy or sticky. Great for dry, sensitive, or combination skin types as oily skin might reach for it more in winter.

Would I Repurchase?

Yes, if I needed a hyaluronic acid serum. Though my personal go-to remains NIOD’s MMHC.

Possible Dupe

Hada Labo Premium Lotion contains 5–7 types of hyaluronic acid, is unscented, suitable for sensitive skin, and comes in a larger bottle. It has a slightly gloopier texture than the TIA’M serum.
