I’ve tried two out of the four masks in the Biodance set so far, and I’ve got mixed feelings but mostly positive ones. Let’s get the obvious out of the way, first yes, it’s expensive. I bought mine on Amazon, made sure to cross-check reviews and confirm it was shipped directly from Biodance. For that price point, I needed to be extra sure.

The experience itself is actually quite lovely. I used the mask overnight for about 8–9 hours after completing my full skincare routine, and while I can’t say it made me glow, my skin definitely felt firmer and more hydrated when I rinsed it off in the morning. That subtle cheek dryness I had? Gone. My skin felt noticeably more plump, not just right after, but even the next day, which honestly impressed me.

Is it overhyped? Maybe a little. But I can also understand why people rave about it. The mask goes clear over time, which is kind of a cool detail, and the texture is soothing, thanks to the glacial water, I assume. I used the ceramides and panthenol version, mostly because I use retinol and wanted something that would support my barrier. So far, I think I made the right choice.

Would I repurchase? Probably one more time. I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed, but I do appreciate how clean and mess-free the experience is compared to traditional sheet masks, which I tend to avoid because they’re just… messy. It’s definitely different from every other mask I own in a good way.

If your skin is already in good shape thanks to a consistent routine and regular facials, this might not be life-changing. But if you’re looking for something that feels a little more luxe and gives real, tangible results, particularly overnight, this one might be worth the splurge.
