Day 30 Review – One month later, is this my holy grail SPF?
So, here we are — a month in with SKIN1004’s Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, and I’m honestly a little surprised at how well it’s stuck with me. Let’s be real, I’ve had my doubts in the past with sunscreens, and most of them end up in the back of my cabinet after a few weeks. But this one? It’s earned its place.
The main thing I’ve noticed is how consistent it is. Every morning, I apply it with no issues, and it’s been giving me the same results each time. No dryness, no oiliness, and my skin still looks fresh and hydrated throughout the day. I also haven’t experienced any irritation or breakouts, which is huge for me. Sunscreens tend to be hit or miss with my sensitive skin, but this one’s been a solid performer.
The hydration aspect? Still amazing. My skin looks healthy without feeling heavy or greasy, and it’s honestly been a life-saver on days when I’m in a rush. Some mornings, I skip my regular moisturizer altogether and just use this as both my sunscreen and moisturizer, and it works perfectly fine.
The one downside I’m still not over is the SPF protection. While it’s great for everyday wear, I don’t feel like it’s quite enough for full outdoor days in the sun. I’m still reaching for my higher-SPF options like EltaMD when I know I’m going to be exposed to strong sun for a long time. If you’re someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, you might want something with a bit more power in terms of sun protection.
But, honestly, for daily wear? This sunscreen is a winner. It does exactly what it promises — it hydrates, protects, and feels light. And most importantly, it doesn’t irritate my skin, which is rare. I still think I’ll be switching it up with something stronger when I’m outdoors for long periods, but for a regular, everyday sunscreen, this one is a solid choice.
So, long story short: if you’re looking for something lightweight, hydrating, and easy to wear daily, SKIN1004’s Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum is worth checking out. I’m sticking with it for now, and I’ll definitely keep using it on my chill, low-key days.
