🌊💙 Dive In Serum First Day Log 💙🌊

✨ current status:
✓ finals approaching
✓ skin feeling like it’s lived through 3 lifetimes
✓ me, dramatically staring at my reflection wondering why I look like I haven’t slept since 2004

So naturally, I reached for my newest little skincare crush: Torriden Dive In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

🧪 what I expected:
I mean, people online call it a moisture magnet and claim it's the Korean dupe for that $$$ fancy brand I won’t name. I saw it trending, I saw the reviews, and I caved. I needed something gentle, hydrating, and non-sticky. Check, check, and hopefully check?

👀 first look:
Super minimal and chill bottle. Kind of like a science-y water drop in serum form. The dropper is clean and gives you just the right amount (I used 2 pumps for my entire face and neck). Not one of those runny messes either — it’s got a bit of bounce in the texture but sinks in FAST.

💧 how it felt on skin:
Immediately cooling. Like I splashed my face with snowmelt from the top of a glacier. There was no scent, no stickiness, no "ugh why did I put this on" moment. Honestly, I didn’t even wait for it to dry before doing moisturizer — it just melted in.

🪞 one hour later:
Skin? Calm. Plump-ish. Not glazed, not matte. Just chill. My face didn’t feel tight or itchy, and there wasn’t that weird layer you sometimes feel with cheaper HA serums. I even poked my cheek to see if it’d bounce back. (It did. Love that.)

💭 random side note:
I lowkey forgot I had it on, which I think is a good sign? Sometimes good skincare is like good Wi-Fi — you only notice when it stops working.

🎀 first-day verdict:
I’m not calling it a holy grail yet because my skin is... complicated, but if this was a first date, I’d def let it buy me iced matcha next time. It’s giving hydration, it’s giving non-irritating, and it’s giving potential.

🧷 things I noticed:
· No weird tingly reaction
· Didn’t pill under moisturizer
· Didn’t feel heavy
· Layers well, even under makeup (tried a tiny dab of concealer on top)

📓 will I use it again tomorrow?
Yes. If anything, I’m a little excited to see how it holds up over a full week. One day in, and I already like it more than that sticky HA serum I bought for $48 last semester.

Catch me reporting back in 30 days with a spreadsheet, a mood board, and possibly a new obsession 💅
