One of My Recent Empties, Etude SoonJung SPF50+ Sunscreen

I finished a tube of the Etude SoonJung SPF50+ sunscreen and overall, it worked really well for my sensitive skin. As someone prone to eczema, I appreciated how gentle the formula was since I experienced no irritation or breakouts. The texture is lightweight and lotion-like, making application smooth and pleasant. It layers beautifully under makeup without pilling, and leaves a radiant, dewy finish.

Pros :

▪︎ Gentle, non-irritating formula, ideal for sensitive skin

▪︎ Lightweight, lotion-like texture

▪︎ Works well as a makeup base

▪︎ Adds a healthy, luminous glow

Cons :

▪︎ Can feel slightly greasy, especially in warmer weather

▪︎ Has a faint, slightly odd scent

▪︎ I had to lightly powder areas that looked too shiny or where my hair would stick post-makeup

If you have dry, sensitive skin and prefer a dewy finish, this sunscreen is a great option, just be prepared to blot or powder a bit if you're oilier or wear it under makeup.

I've gone through three tubes of this already—my skin just drinks it up 😭 I have reactive, dry skin and most sunscreens either sting or leave me with dry patches by noon. This one? Soothing and glowy. I always set my T-zone with a touch of powder, but otherwise it’s perfection.

Tried this during last summer and it was… not it 💀 Too shiny for me and felt like my face was melting by 2pm.

I wish more mineral sunscreens felt like this. No cast, no sting, just calm skin. I use it like a primer tbh. That glow is chef’s kiss 👩‍🍳💋

Honestly the only reason I haven’t repurchased is because I’m trying to finish my 4 other sunscreens 😩 but this one stays in my top 3.
