A hybrid skincare essential for redness and Zoom-ready skin
With most of my classes still online, I try to keep my skin looking fresh and presentable, even if I’m not going full glam for Zoom. I don’t reach for a full face of makeup these days, but I like to use something that helps me feel a little more put together.
Why Centella Asiatica is a skincare staple
- Supports wound healing by boosting collagen production and calming inflammation
- Soothes and hydrates the skin, giving you that natural, healthy glow
- Packed with antioxidants, which help defend against signs of aging and environmental stress
- Helps treat acne by controlling oil production and reducing the risk of scarring
My Thoughts
This product was my introduction to Centella Asiatica and honestly, my skin hasn’t looked back since. The Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment does a fantastic job of calming irritation and evening out skin tone. It’s a green-toned cream that neutralizes redness on contact, then transforms into a beige tone as you blend it in, almost like a BB cream, but with a better texture and more skincare benefits.
I love using this on days when I’m feeling low-maintenance but still want to look a little polished. It evens out redness, adds a bit of coverage, and contains SPF, which is a major bonus for everyday protection.
The only drawback? The scent. It’s a bit strong likely due to the inclusion of essential oils like lavender and grapefruit and there’s also alcohol in the formula. So if your skin is very sensitive to fragrance or plant extracts, this might be something to patch test first.
How I Use It
After finishing my regular skincare routine, I use this as the final step before applying sunscreen. I apply a thin, even layer across my face and give it a few minutes to adjust nas it goes on green, but quickly melts into a more natural beige tone. Think of it as skincare-meets-makeup.
I recommend this for someone with normal, oily, or dry skin types but sensitive skin types may want to proceed with caution due to fragrance and alcohol.
Overall this is a solid everyday option if you deal with redness and want a fuss-free way to even out your skin tone while nourishing it. I’d call this a skincare-makeup hybrid that actually earns its place in both categories.
