I’ve been using the Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream for a few weeks now, and while I wouldn’t say it completely transformed my skin, it’s been a really solid addition to my routine.
The texture is lightweight but still has that comforting, nourishing feel that makes it perfect for day or night. It doesn’t pill under makeup, and I haven’t experienced any breakouts or irritation since starting it.
This isn’t one of those creams where you wake up the next day glowing like a lightbulb — but that’s kind of the point. It’s dependable, gentle, and just works to keep your skin balanced. I especially appreciate how it sinks in without feeling greasy or heavy.
Definitely a good option if you’re looking for a simple, non-fussy moisturizer that plays well with other actives.
I personally am satisfied with this purchase! I’ll have to see if I actually like & am willing to go for the second tube but so far, I love it!
I started using it after an overexfoliation mishap too many acids in one week, and it genuinely helped bring down the tightness and stinging. I wouldn’t call it a rescue cream like the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast, but it’s great as a follow-up once your skin is past the emergency phase and just needs calm, steady support.
The texture is nice at first, light, absorbs quickly
but I found myself reapplying a few hours later because it just wasn’t moisturizing enough. On days when my skin was feeling a little compromised, it didn’t seem to do much in terms of calming or strengthening my barrier. I also noticed a couple of tiny clogged pores pop up after a week of use, which was disappointing.
It’s probably better suited for people with oilier skin types or those looking for a minimal, no-frills moisturizer.
Overall for me, it didn’t offer enough hydration or long-term benefits to justify a repurchase.
+ What I really like about it is how it behaves under other products. I can use actives like retinol or BHA and not worry about this causing any weird reactions.
