This review is coming from someone who wants to love this cushion, and in many ways, I do. But I also need to be honest about where it falls short for me.
Let’s break it down.
I picked up the fwee Cushion Glass Natural in 1.5 Peach Glass — and listen, the shade match is perfection. I rarely find base products that feel this tailored to my undertone. It’s brightening without being chalky, and there’s a softness to the peach tone that feels youthful but not overly warm.
When I applied this cushion, I immediately thought ‘woah, this is super thin & super lightweight.’ That signature “glass skin” effect fwee is known for? Totally there. The formula melts into the skin like a second layer and gives this blurred, velvety glow.
BUT.
My skin type: combo, acne-prone
So here’s the thing: I have some pigmentation and minor breakouts that I usually want to tone down or hide, and while this cushion does a solid job evening out the base tone, it doesn’t cover anything deeper.
I had to reach for my trusty concealer to deal with spots, redness around the nose, and a stubborn acne scar. Which, to be fair, is fine if that’s the look you’re going for — sheer but buildable with help.
Last but not least, this is where I had mixed feelings. The glow is gorgeous at first, but by hour 5, my T-zone started fading — not separating or breaking down, but definitely ghosting. With setting powder and mist it lasts a bit longer, but it’s not what I’d wear on a full-day schedule.
Final Word:
If you don’t mind layering a little concealer and love a natural, luminous, MLBB base look, this is a great pick. Especially for clearer skin days or when you’re okay with a soft-focus finish.
But if you’re like me and need more staying power or coverage on specific areas, just be ready to do some cushion+concealer teamwork.
