[Mini Review] Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Barrier Cream

My skin is normal to dry.

This is soft, whipped cream consistency, somewhere between a classic moisturiser and a thick curd. It feels cushiony and comforting straight out of the tube. Application can be a bit tricky. On damp skin, it tends to go on streaky and may take a minute to smooth out. It does eventually settle in completely, leaving no residue, but it’s not the most seamless experience right out of the gate. For best results, I’d recommend applying it to slightly dried-down skin. Also, it's fragrance-free, which is ideal for sensitive or reactive skin. It's hydrating and soothing, true to its name. It delivers on barrier support and moisturisation without feeling heavy or greasy once absorbed.

Despite its solid ingredient list and gentle formula, the fussy application holds it back for me. It's not a bad cream by any means, but the texture requires a bit too much patience. Frankly, I would not repurchase, mainly due to the application experience.

Having to apply 'cream' on dried out skin sounds kinda tough
