So let me be honest... I really didn’t need another mask. I have like, an entire drawer of them already (why am I like this). But when I saw the Kuromi collab with Mediheal blowing up on TikTok and Insta, I couldn’t help myself. That deep purple packaging? Kuromi’s little face looking sassy and chaotic? Instant add-to-cart 🖤💜

It also said “PDRN, Glow, Pore Care” and I was like, okay, that’s literally what my skin is begging for right now. Between summer school and my part-time job, I’ve been exhausted and it definitely shows on my face. Not full-on breakout bad, but just tired and flat. So yeah, I wanted something that felt like a mini spa break without the effort.

First Impressions aka : WHY IS IT SO CUTE

Literally obsessed with the packaging. The deep violet totally matches Kuromi’s whole vibe! Fun but kinda edgy. When I opened the 10+1 box and saw her on every pouch, I actually smiled. It just makes skincare feel less like a chore and more like a treat.

Pulled one out and boom, rose scent. Not that fake floral stuff either, but like actual rose petals. It’s soft and fresh, and even though I’m super sensitive to fragrance, this one didn’t bother me at all.

The Mask Itself : How It Feels On

Okay, this thing is THIN. Like jelly-thin. It sticks perfectly to your face and doesn’t slide around, which is amazing because I always scroll while masking 😅 It felt super cool the second I put it on (pro tip: fridge it for extra chill ❄️).

There was so much essence I could’ve started a side hustle with it. I used the extra on my neck, chest, and even elbows lol. It takes a few minutes to soak in, but once it does, no stickiness—just soft, calm skin.

So What Even Is PDRN?

Okay, skincare nerd moment. PDRN is supposed to be this DNA-repair magic from salmon (yeah, wild), but this one only has like… a tiny bit. Like, blink and you’ll miss it lol.

Kinda wild that they’re calling it a PDRN mask when it’s barely there tbh.

The rose extract makes it smell super fresh, not fake. It also makes your skin feel chill and soft, which I’m always down for.

There’s also panthenol to help chill your skin barrier, and squalane to keep everything soft without going greasy. 

Adenosine is like that quiet friend who helps your skin look better without making a big deal about it. Love that.

How I Used It

I used it every 2–3 nights for about two weeks. Here’s the lazy girl version of my routine!

Cleanser: COSRX Low pH Good Morning

Toner: Round Lab Dokdo

Mask: The Kuromi one, duh

Ampoule: Sometimes yes, sometimes no

Moisturizer: Snature Squalane

Sleep: Hopefully 💤

Sometimes I’d toss the mask in the fridge before using it and omg, 10/10 for hot days.

What I Noticed

After just one use, my skin felt soothed. Like, the random cheek redness I had? Gone. My face looked calmer and just… healthier. Not "glass skin" or anything, but definitely refreshed.

By the fourth mask, my skin tone was more even and the texture felt smoother. My mom legit asked what I was using, which NEVER happens lol.

The Downsides (Gotta Be Real)

If you hate any kind of scent, even mild rose, maybe not your thing

The essence is kinda rich, so oily skin peeps might wanna skip this during sweaty summer days
