I Thought My Hair Was Beyond Saving… Until This

I have this bad habit of convincing myself that my hair can handle just one more round of bleaching. Spoiler: It cannot.

The last time I went lighter, my hair felt like wet seaweed every time I washed it. No matter how much conditioner I used, it still felt dry and stringy.

I was mentally preparing myself to chop it all off when I randomly came across UNOVE Deep Damage Treatment while doomscrolling through reviews. People were calling it a “dupe” for those expensive salon treatments, so I figured, why not?

The first time I used it, I didn’t expect much. I slathered it on, left it for about 10 minutes while I scrolled on my phone, and rinsed it out. And… okay. My hair felt softer, but I wasn’t convinced yet.

But then I dried it.

My hair, which normally looked like it had been through war, actually looked smooth. Not just “less frizzy” smooth—like, I-ran-a-straightener-over-it smooth. I kept running my fingers through it in disbelief. It was so much softer, and even my ends, which I thought were beyond repair, looked way healthier.

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and while it’s not magic (I mean, nothing can truly reverse damage), this is the closest thing I’ve found to a reset button for my hair. If you’ve ever looked at your reflection and thought, Wow, I really did my hair dirty, this might be worth a shot.

Anyone else tried this? Or do you have another hair miracle product I should know about? Because clearly, I’m not done making questionable decisions with bleach.
