okay, so we’re two weeks into this torriden dive-in serum experiment, and i think i’m starting to get it? like, at first i wasn’t sure if it was just me being too hopeful (as i tend to be, no shame 😂), but now? there are some noticeable differences.

first off, i noticed my skin feels way softer now. i mean, i’ve been using the same routine with my favs (shoutout to Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, you’re still my ride or die 💖), but the serum has definitely stepped up my hydration game. like, my cheeks are no longer like that one dry spot in the desert 🌵. they actually feel… plump? you know that smooth, bouncy feeling you get after a really good facial? that’s what this serum is giving me, and i am here for it. 😌✨

BUT, (and here’s the big but) my forehead’s still a bit of a struggle. like, i can see my skin is more hydrated, but there’s still some dryness and flaky spots by my hairline. 🥲 i was hoping this serum would be the miracle fix for everything, but looks like it's a bit more of a slow burn. so, yeah, not perfect, but def better than the first week. i’ll take it.

also, i’ve been layering this with my usual actives like vitamin C (no irritation yet, knock on wood 🙏🏻), and honestly, i think that’s where this serum really shines. it doesn’t mess with anything i put over it or under it. i’ve even been using it during the day (under SPF, of course, because #skincareobviously) and it just works, like it’s meant to be there. no pilling, no weird clashes with other products. a girl’s dream, honestly. 💅

i will say, though, i wish the bottle was a lil’ bigger. i mean, it’s already half empty after two weeks, and while i love the lightweight feel, i kinda feel like i’m just gonna run out way too soon. not cute. 😬

but all in all, i’m definitely seeing more hydration, and the skin is feeling smoother—so i’m not mad about it. i still don’t think it’s the best serum in the world, but hey, for someone with dry skin like me who just needs some moisture and softness, it’s doing its job. so, props to you, torriden. 🤞🏼
