I’ll be honest, I got this cushion because of the hype and the packaging (and yes, I wanted to feel like I had my life together). I'm more into skincare rather than the actual makeup, so I usually just use sunscreen and tinted lip balm, so this was my first “real” base product — and wow. I get it now.
The texture is so smooth and not scary full coverage. It gives that clean, glowy finish like I’ve had 8 hours of sleep (when I’ve had like 4). My skin is a little dry in the morning, but this doesn’t cling to dry patches or cake up. I even skipped primer a few times and it still looked great.
I use this before my 9AM class and don’t really touch up all day — just a bit of powder if I’m looking shiny in the afternoon. It sits nicely on my skin and makes me feel like… polished but not doing too much. You know?
Shade-wise, I got #Pink Light, which is maybe a tiny bit too pink for me, but still blends well with some bronzer and blush. I don’t regret the splurge — it’s definitely the nicest-looking product on my desk now, and makes me want to actually get ready in the morning.
Also if you're dry, try the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum - makes cushions look even more skin-like.
