A grown-up, reliable cleanser that just… runs out too fast.

I’m in my late twenties, working full-time, and let me tell you — my skin and I have been through it. From hormonal breakouts to those stress-induced flare-ups around deadlines, my skin knows what it means to be tired.

So I’m always looking for something gentle, effective, and dependable to keep my routine low-maintenance but still skin-friendly.

I picked up the HANYUL Pure Artemisia Cleansing Foam Pack during a “treat myself” Olive Young haul. I wanted something that felt traditional and soothing but still had the functionality of a modern cleanser.

First impression? Really good. The scent was a soft, herby mugwort (nothing too strong or medicinal), and the consistency was somewhere between a clay and a creamy foam.

I could feel it hugging my skin — never stripping, just enough to feel clean without that tight aftermath.

I also loved the slight versatility: you can use it as a quick cleanser or leave it on for a few minutes like a mild purifying mask. It helped reduce redness and gave my skin that smooth, balanced feeling that made my toner and serum absorb better.

But here’s the catch: it runs out FAST.

I don’t consider myself a heavy-handed user, but I was squeezing out a pretty generous amount to get that creamy lather — and within about three weeks, I was already halfway through the tube.

That’s the only reason I’m hesitant about repurchasing right away.

Final verdict?

• Performance: 9/10

• Price-to-portion ratio: 5/10

• Would I recommend? Yes — but only if you’re okay with repurchasing a little more often or waiting for a promo.

Ugh, why do all the good cleansers disappear so fast? I swear I blink and suddenly I'm squeezing the tube for. This sounds amazing but my wallet is already crying at the thought of repurchasing every month.

Pro tip tho, use it just as a mask treatment 2-3x/week instead of daily cleanser. Makes it last longer and you still get the benefits! I do this with my expensive cleansers.
