🌸My Honest Thoughts on the TREE HUT Shea Sugar Scrub Exotic Bloom🌸

Age: 18

Skin Type: Combo, oily T-zone but dry cheeks

Concern: Bumpy texture, dull skin, rough arms (especially upper arms!)

Okay, real talk. I already have like four scrubs in my shower right now, totally didn’t need another one. But then I saw this Kuromi collab at the store and literally squealed. The jar is clear so you can see the soft lavender color, and the lid has Kuromi being her usual chaotic self. It was just way too cute to walk past 😭💜

The scent is called "Exotic Bloom" which sounds super vague, but I opened the jar and omg, it smelled like candy, flowers, and some fruity body spray from middle school in the best possible way. Like... if Kuromi were a bath product, this would be it.

Okay but the packaging?

So stinkin’ cute. The soft purple shade + Kuromi’s little smirk? Obsessed.

It gives total “I exfoliate but also scroll Sanrio TikTok at 2AM” energy.

When I opened it, the scent hit me in the best way. Sweet, kinda floral, a little fruity. Not too perfume-y, just really fun. It’s one of those scents that makes you wanna use the product even when you're tired and don’t care about skincare.

The texture? Thickkkk. Like sugar-crystal thick. It doesn’t melt instantly which I love because it gives you time to actually scrub. I use it on damp skin and it spreads pretty easily. The sugar bits are chunky but not sharp, so it feels scrubby without being scratchy.

The tiny spoon it comes with is kinda cute but also tiny-tiny, so I ditched it after the first use and just scooped with my fingers. Also, I tried using it around my chest once and it felt a bit too rough for that area, so now I mostly stick to arms, legs, and elbows where I want serious exfoliation.

So what’s in this thing anyway?

It’s mostly big sugar crystals, which are what give it that chunky exfoliating feel. When you rinse, there’s no greasy residue, just this soft glow, like I barely need lotion after.

There’s also glycerin to keep things hydrated while you scrub, safflower seed oil to soften up any rough patches, and aloe vera which keeps my skin from freaking out. I have KP on my arms (those annoying little bumps), and this definitely helped smooth them down after a few uses. I wouldn’t say it’s a miracle scrub, but honestly? Kind of feels like one.

And yes. It’s fragranced. But surprisingly, it didn’t irritate me at all. It’s sweet and soft and makes your whole shower smell like a floral candy cloud 🌸🍭

How I actually use it

I’ve been reaching for it 2–3 times a week, usually near the end of my shower. I scrub it into my arms, thighs, elbows. Basically anywhere that feels bumpy or dry. Then I rinse and pat dry.

When I shave, I’ll use it before and my legs feel ridiculously smooth afterward. Sometimes I even open the jar just to smell it like a little weirdo 😅

So… is it worth it?

Honestly? Yeah. After about two weeks, I noticed my arms felt smoother, especially on the backs where I usually get tiny bumps. My legs are less dull too. It hasn’t made my skin magically perfect or anything, but I actually look forward to using it, and that says a lot.

Just a heads up

If you’re sensitive to strong scents, maybe sniff it in-store first. It’s pretty sweet.

Also, it can get a little messy if you're not careful—sugar everywhere lol.

Not the cheapest scrub out there, but not crazy expensive either.

Would I buy it again?

Yeah... I already want to stock up. I’m lowkey scared the collab will end and I’ll miss it.

It’s cute, it works, and it makes me feel like I’m actually taking care of myself, even when life’s a mess.

One line to sum it up?

A sugary-sweet scrub that smells like candy and leaves your skin feeling baby soft, Kuromi-approved 💅💜
