I wanted this to be the summer cream. I loved the Dive-In serum and mist, so expectations were sky-high. First impressions? It’s cute. Gel-cream texture, spreads like a dream, and it absorbs within seconds. But… that’s kind of the problem.

It vanishes. Like, poof. One minute it’s there, the next my skin is like, “hello? Where’d you go?” For my combo skin that leans dry, especially at night, it just doesn’t feel like enough. I layered it over a toner and serum, and still felt the need to top up with something else. It’s like drinking flavored water when you really needed a protein shake.

I will say: during hot, humid days, it sits really well. No greasiness, no congestion. It’s just not nourishing enough for me personally. 

Maybe oily or teen skin would love it. But for me? I need more body. More cushion. 

I’ll finish the jar, but I’m not singing its praises.
